As the church, we exist to enjoy, embody and exalt the Lordship of Jesus Christ to all people in our region and beyond.
God’s people gather in a variety of places and settings — and yet they gather for the same grand purpose. The church is God’s idea and is God’s plan, and no matter what the building looks like or how the programs are organized, the church must be absolutely committed to what God wants His church to be.
At Almaguin Missionary Church we strive to gather together, to be transformed by the Word of God and to dwell in unity and love with one another. Admittedly, we are not a perfect church but we are passionate in our pursuit of Christ and our deepest desire is to emulate Him in and through our lives. If you are looking for a new church home? We are a church that believes in a God Who hears and answers prayer. We believe that prayer should always be the first response rather than the last resort. We affirm that prayer is not an optional activity but the foundation of all ministry and we regularly gather to seek God’s guidance, strength and blessing.
We are a church committed to both individual and corporate prayer. We are committed to making prayer the heartbeat of our church, seeking God’s presence in every decision, ministry, and relationship trusting that His power works in the lives of people. As a church family we pledge to stand in prayer for one another, our community and the nations believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.
Each week we meet to lift before God’s throne of grace those in need. Have a need? We would love to represent you in prayer and petition God on your behalf.
